Most beautiful lighting assumes something your home may not have: a junction box in exactly the right place. Miss it by a foot and the choice becomes an electrician, a channel cut into the plaster, or simply going without.

Lumaply exists for the third option, light that doesn't need permission from your wiring.

What we sell

Rechargeable and plug-in fixtures: wall sconces, cordless table lamps, picture lights and bedside reading lights. Every one installs with two screws, a magnet or an adhesive plate, and runs on a USB-C rechargeable battery that lasts weeks between charges. No cable trailing down the wall. No landlord conversation.

How we choose products

We don't design fixtures from scratch and we don't pretend to. We select from established manufacturers already producing at scale, and we are strict about which ones make the cut: proven order history, consistently high ratings, and real customer photographs that match the product as sold. Anything with a pattern of complaints about battery life, dim output or build quality does not get listed, however good it looks in a render.

The upside of working this way is that nothing we sell is a first production run. Every fixture on this site has an order history and a review record behind it before we agree to list it.

How we operate

Lumaply is a small independent business that sells online only. We have no retail stores and no showroom.

Our fixtures are made and dispatched directly by our manufacturing partners in Asia. That is what keeps our prices well below the lighting showroom equivalent, and it is also why delivery takes 8 to 30 business days from dispatch rather than two. We state that on our Shipping and Delivery page and we would rather set the expectation than break it.

Shipping to the United States is free on every order, with no minimum. Every fixture carries a 12 month warranty against manufacturing defects. Anything that arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect is replaced or refunded on a photograph within 14 days of delivery, and we do not ask you to return it at your own expense.
